Singing lessons at the Harrison School of Music primarily focuses on popular music and musical theatre songs. If you have always wanted to be a better rock, pop, country, jazz, gospel, theatre, or R&B singer, then we have the right voice teachers for you! Voice students spend time each week doing physical exercises to improve their vocal range, ear training, breath control, vibrato, tone production, enunciation and more. All voice students set goals with their teacher to work on sounding like their favorite recording artists, preparing for a theatre audition, or if they prefer, to develop their own unique voice.
Vocal students are encouraged to bring their favorite music in lesson to work on! Twice per year, our school offers FREE optional recitals with a a professional accompanist for our students to perform in front of an audience of friends, family and teachers. We rent professional theatres for these events, and our vocal students always bring the house down! Lessons are available 7 days a week:
Monday-Friday from 11:00am – 8:30pm
Saturdays from 9:00am – 4:00pm
Sundays from 1:00pm – 6:00pm

When you enroll here for voice and singing lessons, your teacher will ask you about your favorite type of music, and set goals to help accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have for yourself or your child. Together, you will develop a plan to achieve your goals! We love beginners, so even if you don’t know where to begin, we can help!

We teach all styles from rock, pop, jazz, country, blues and classical. We combine the important fundamentals with the music YOU want to play. With plenty of teachers at the Harrison School of Music you are sure to find the best match for YOU.
ARE YOUR INSTRUCTORS QUALIFIED?
Our instructors are highly qualified, all have teaching experience, and most importantly, they have a passion for teaching. Being a musician doesn’t automatically make you a teacher–that’s why we search for those who are best qualified for mentoring our music students!
Our teachers have received their education from prestigious institutions such as New York University, Indiana University, Berklee College of Music, University of North Texas, Manhattan School of Music, University of Miami, Juilliard, SUNY Purchase and more! Many of our instructors have gone on performance tours of the US and Europe. In addition to their teaching credentials, our teachers have warm personalities, are extremely friendly and strive to get to know each student and their parents on a personal level.
