We’re so excited to see you perform!

Dear Students and Families,

We are excited to see all of our studentsโ€™ performances in our upcoming recitals.

To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone involved, we kindly ask that you review the following basic concert and recital etiquette with your family.

1. Arrive Early Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your students’ scheduled recital time to perform. This is to make sure your student has adequate time to view the stage and tune instruments. This will also give audience members time to settle into their seats, avoid disturbing others, and ensure the event starts on time. If you arrive late, we ask that you wait to hear applause during an appropriate break before entering the performance space.

2. Remain Seated Until the End Please stay in your seat for the duration of the recital. Our recitals are scheduled in one-hour blocks. This gives 50 minutes of performance time with 10 minutes for the audience to arrive and disperse. If you must leave early, please sit near the back of the performance hall, kindly wait for a break between performances, and exit as quietly as possible to avoid disrupting others.

3. Silence All Electronic Devices For the enjoyment of all attendees, please make sure that all cell phones, watches, and other electronic devices are set to silent or turned off during the performance. The quiet atmosphere is essential to allow each student to perform their best.

4. Take What You Bring Please remember to take all your belongings with you when leaving the concert hall, and kindly dispose of any trash in the designated bins. Let’s keep the space clean for everyone to enjoy.

5. Be Respectful of the Performers Students perform their best when they know they have the full attention and support of their audience. Please avoid talking, whispering, or causing distractions during the recital. Your focus and encouragement will help create a positive experience for everyone.

6. Photography and Videography If you wish to take photographs or videos, please do so without using a flash or distracting others.ย  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Your support of the students is what makes these events so special, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements with you.
